Icy Rain Fall Empty Icy Rain Fall

Post  Ushsi Shadow Tue Sep 23, 2008 5:01 pm

A lonesome girl sat in the shadows under one of the many willow trees in the graveyard. A bone chilling rain had been pouring down on the city, as it still continued. Ushsi sat drenched to the bone from the rain, but it seemingly did nothing to her. Her blue optics were closed lightly, her senses heighted. Ice formed around where her hand was, some also forming on her somewhat pointed nose. Her body was slumped against the willow she was happily under and it seemed like she wasn’t even alive; oh but she was. Rain had always calmed her down, including now. It was what made her senses go on extreme; it also made it a good time to meditate. She had closed off everything around her, except if she heard something…then she would respond. Many had passed her that day as she sat in the graveyard like a dumped corpse. And since she wasn’t moving much the ice around her hand was spreading, slowly at first but it was going to take over her if she didn’t move anytime soon. Her mind was ripping down walls for her powers, as she tried to make herself more powerful through meditation. It seemed to be working. At least she was still alive, which was amazing. The cops routes never made it over here, they thought it was cursed. Luckily it was…since the Cursed ones, like Ushsi, loved it here. Mainly the ones Ushsi knew, the secret leaders of the Cursed came here…but never at the same time had it seemed. Ushsi, finally after what seemed like eternality, opened her now icy optics, fluttering her lashes for a second. She sighed and looked straight at the crescent moon. Her sigh seemed to be tired and long but it wasn’t unmoral for her. She moved her hand, the ice breaking. She then twitched her nose and noticed a figure also in the graveyard. It had just entered, and that was why Ushsi had moved her form a little. She looked at it, tensely and then bit her lower lip as she staggered up into the willow tree.

Savanna had followed Ushsi's trail over to the graveyard. She watched intently as she slumped up against the willow tree. Savanna didn't do anything but watch, her pupils glowing golden against the city lights. When she had had enough of just sitting around, she decided to change, she wanted to feel the rain on her bare skin. Once she had changed, she confidently strode into the graveyard, reading the names and dates on the headstones as she walked. She had never known any of these people, and felt no feelings for their memoirs either.

Ushsi had known that Savanna was there, watching her moves. She had given up on responding to her, hearing people thought that Ushsi had grown soft, and weaker. She kept a slight snarl to herself as she leaned agianst the trunk, with no noise of course. She heard more noises then she had before. Someone...else was there. In the shadows of the tree branches, she laid down and whispered the lyrics of a simple song that she loved. She closed her bright eyes and a sudden chill ran down her spine.
